HTC’s Viveport platform, from which it sells digital software for its HTC Vive, is getting a big upgrade.
As announced at Vive’s CES 2018 press conference today, Viveport itself is turning into a full VR storefront that’s optimized for content creation. It looks a lot like what you’d expect; a digital shopping experience designed to imitate the real thing only enhanced with virtual windows. Vive is promising new features like a preview button that can quickly transport you into apps and more.
