Nintendo announces VR support for two of its biggest properties.
In a video released yesterday via the official Nintendo Twitter account, the company announced that support for Nintendo Labo VR would be heading to both Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the form of a free update April 25th, nearly two weeks after the launch of the Labo VR Toy-Con.
The Super Mario Odyssey update will include three addition mini-missions in which players must hunt down and collect a series of music notes and coins featured in the main campaign to complete various objectives scattered throughout the Cap, Luncheon, and Seaside Kingdoms.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild, on the other hand, will receive VR support for the entire game, allowing players to immerse themselves in the beautiful Hyrule landscape. Following the update, players can navigate to their options menu to activate Toy-Con VR Goggles mode, bringing Link’s latest adventure to life in all its stereoscopic glory.
Both VR experiences will be accessible via the Toy-Con VR Goggles peripheral, which players will hold up to their face, using the attached Joy-Con controllers to operate the games.
Nintendo Labo VR Starter Kit drops April 12th starting for $39.99 and includes everything you’ll need to get started playing Odyssey and Breath of the Wild in VR. For even more VR action, you’ll want to check out the full VR Kit to gain access to all the cardboard peripherals.
