Guardians of the Galaxy was an incredibly fun movie that helped expand Marvel’s cinematic universe to, well, the size of the galaxy. The sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, is out in theaters next week in what is sure to be a feast for the eyes and ears as the movies inch closer to a dramatic showdown expected with Avengers: Infinity War next year. One of the most beloved characters from the film is of course Groot, whose name is also one of only three words in his vocabulary.
Edwards sketched him today, capturing the tree’s mighty muscle-stalks with incredible detail. Check it out below.
