Last week Croteam finally moved its debut VR game, Serious Sam: The Last Hope, out of Early Access. But the developer has another big launch right around the corner.
The Talos Principle VR, a port of the developer’s popular puzzle game, is coming to the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on October 17th. A recent Steam listing for the game confirms as much, also noting that the port will support room-scale play as well as standing and seated options. As we already knew, the game will support the Oculus Touch and Vive wand controllers. Check out the trailer below.
Originally released in 2014, The Talos Principle is a first-person puzzler in which players arrange light beams to reach markers. You awaken in ancient ruins, with an unseen character claiming rule over the world around you, but it won’t be long before you find out all is not what it seems.
The VR version will also support a range of locomotion options, including teleportation and smooth movement with traditional comfort options supported.
Croteam promised owners of the original game on Steam that there will be a loyalty discount. On top of that, the Road to Gehenna DLC will be included for free, too. The add-on includes another four episodes with some of the game’s most challenging trials.
Look for more on The Talos Principle VR soon.
